Day 12

Sept 30th

Hey - what happened to the wall of our old master bath?

The sliding glass door of the new master bedroom is framed, along with the corners. Floors are in on the extension.

Ok...remember those white cabinets in the hallway where the W&D used to be and the giant pipes, etc... Well, they're GONE baby, GONE! You are no looking through the hallway door into the kids bathroom - the far door will be to their toilet/shower-bath area.

Here's a good perspective challenge - where are you standing now? Actually, you are standing at the door to our new master closet, looking into the kids bathroom with the new office in the background (note the green walls).

Hey, we said we wanted a skylight - but this isn't exactly what we were thinking about.

I actually like this back porch kinda look!

This picture is taken from the perspective of where our large corner tub will be located.

And here, I'm standing in the kids shower looking out the door.

Since we are sealing up the old master closet and turning it into the kids toilet/shower area, we needed another closet in this room to keep it classified as a bedroom, so we switched up our hallway closet - opening it up to the bedroom and (will be) sealing it up on the hallway side. FYI, note the short green wall to the right of the room door - we had some mid-construction design changes that will affect that wall as well.

Perspective looking down our hallway from the front door. Notice how nice and tall the openings are, now that Garth knocked them all down - it really opens that area up!

Notice the white trim and arch on this doorway below. As with the rest of the hallway, this too will be gone by then end of the week.

The doorframe leading to the master bedroom on the left. Doorway to the hallway 1/2 bath on the right.

You're now looking at the area of our master bath. The small window framed to the left will actually be in our shower.

Kind of a funny view looking out our old sliding glass door. On the floor, you're starring at the new toilet hole and tub drain of the new master bath.
